Terms of Service
Effective 23 October 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the CreditXray platform. By accessing CreditXray, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the organization that provided your account and agree to these Terms. If your organization has a separate written agreement with CreditXray, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
2. The service
CreditXray provides tools for lender-policy import, normalization, review, versioning, policy-linked calculations, comparisons, audit history, and related operational workflows. Features may include a managed Google Drive policy folder and AI-assisted extraction from uploaded spreadsheets, documents, PDFs, and images.
3. Authorized business use
CreditXray is intended for authorized professional and internal business use. Users must provide accurate account information, protect credentials, follow assigned permissions, and notify their administrator or CreditXray promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
4. Customer and source data
Your organization is responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate authority to enter customer, employee, lender, and spreadsheet information into CreditXray. Users must keep information accurate, relevant, and limited to what is needed for the permitted business purpose.
As between CreditXray and the submitting organization, the organization retains its rights in submitted business data. It grants CreditXray permission to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that data only as necessary to operate, support, secure, and improve the requested service.
5. Google Drive and policy documents
A Google connection is optional and must be authorized by the Google account holder. Under the permissions shown by Google, CreditXray creates a dedicated policy folder and accesses files uploaded to or created in that folder through the platform. Users are responsible for uploading the correct policy documents and reviewing proposed changes before authorizing publication or spreadsheet writeback.
Users may disconnect Google in CreditXray or revoke access through their Google Account. Revocation stops future Drive uploads and synchronization and may require the account to be reconnected before those features work again.
6. Calculations and AI-assisted output
CreditXray calculations and AI-assisted policy drafts are operational decision-support tools. They depend on the accuracy, completeness, interpretation, and currentness of the source policies and user inputs. Authorized users must review policy values, citations, assumptions, and unresolved questions before publication or reliance.
CreditXray does not provide financial, legal, or underwriting advice and does not guarantee loan eligibility, approval, pricing, disbursement, or a lender’s final decision. Lender underwriting and applicable law always control.
7. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- access data or functions beyond their authorization;
- upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass platform security;
- use CreditXray to violate law, privacy rights, contractual duties, or third-party intellectual-property rights;
- misrepresent indicative calculations as guaranteed lender approvals;
- share credentials or use another person’s account without authorization;
- use the service to develop or train a competing product through unauthorized extraction or automated collection.
8. Availability and third-party services
We work to keep CreditXray reliable and secure, but availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, network failures, and third-party services—including cloud hosting, Google APIs, email, and AI providers—may affect operation. Third-party services are also governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Intellectual property
CreditXray and its software, interface, documentation, branding, and platform technology are owned by CreditXray or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the service as authorized, no ownership rights are transferred to a user or organization.
10. Suspension and termination
CreditXray or an organization administrator may suspend or terminate access for security risk, misuse, legal requirements, non-payment under an applicable agreement, or breach of these Terms. Upon termination, access ends and information is retained or deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy, applicable agreements, and legal obligations.
11. Disclaimers and limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CreditXray is provided on an “as available” basis without implied warranties of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CreditXray is not responsible for decisions made solely from incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or unreviewed information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CreditXray will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, including loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains limited as provided by the applicable written service agreement or law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any dispute-resolution provision in an applicable written agreement.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in CreditXray, third-party requirements, or applicable law. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
